Parentsquare 101
The Oregon City School District uses the ParentSquare platform for district, 学校, 学生, 教师交流, 和 emergency communications primarily with email, 文本, 还有应用通知.
ParentSquare automatically generates an account for each parent/guardian, using their preferred email address 和 phone number listed within ParentVue.

Oregon City School District uses ParentSquare for District 和 学校 level communications. ParentSquare is designed to keep parents informed 和 make communicating easy. 它为主体提供了一种安全的方法, 老师, 工作人员, 和 parents/guardians to communicate 和 share information through email, 短信和电话留言.
We encourage everyone to activate their ParentSquare account to take full advantage of this tool. Even without an account, all families will receive messages to their email address 和 phone number. It’s extremely important that your 学生’s 学校 has your current email address 和 phone number on file to ensure you receive communications. We ask that you verify this information each year in our Annual ParentVUE Verification. If your contact information has changed, please inform your 学校 office. They will make the update in our 学校 information system. Then, those changes will be reflected in ParentSquare.

Your child(ren)'s 学校 has your email 和/or phone number in their records 和 they will initiate the setup process with you. They will send you an invitation email 和/or 文本 with a link to activate your ParentSquare account.
1. From your email, click the button, Activate your account.

3. Register by entering your Email or Phone Number, then click Get Started.
Use Your Google or Microsoft Account to Sign In to ParentSquare (optional)
Click the button Sign in with Google or Sign in with Microsoft.
Use your sign in credentials 和 password that you use for Google or Microsoft.

Update / Edit Your Contact Information (浏览器)

Follow these steps only if your 学校 allows you to suggest corrections.
From Home, click your name at the top-right 和 select My Account.

Enter the verification code sent to your email or cell phone.

Your 学校 will receive the suggested correction.
Change Your Notification Settings for Posts (浏览器)
You can customize your Post notifications based on type 和 delivery method.
The Instant setting will send all Post notifications in real-time.
The Digest setting will send all Posts for the day in one single digest at the end of the day (recommended.)
Posts sent as immediate, as well as direct Messages 和 Alerts, will still be delivered instantly. For more on notification settings or to watch a video, click 在这里.
From Home, click your name in the top-right corner 和 select My Account.

Choose your preferred Notification Settings for General Announcements & Messages (Off, Instant or Digest) 和 School Alerts (On or Off).
*Note: If you have multiple phones or emails listed in your account, you may set the order of your preferred contacts to receive notifications. Notifications will only be sent to one email 和 one phone on your account.
